Pay for a task you actually need done.
Choose one repeatable task
Start with a specific job such as drafting product descriptions, summarizing documents or creating images. A tool that sounds powerful may still be a poor fit for your workflow.
Measure useful output
Try the same representative task several times. Compare accuracy, editing time, export quality and how often the result is usable, rather than judging by a single impressive demo.
Check usage limits
Compare credits, message limits, model access, output resolution and overage charges. Confirm whether unused credits expire and what happens when you reach the limit.
Review data handling
Before uploading client or business information, review the provider’s retention, training, deletion and access settings. Choose settings that fit the information you plan to use.
Keep an exit plan
Check commercial-use terms for your intended output, export your work regularly and confirm cancellation and renewal conditions. Avoid annual billing until the tool proves useful.
This is a buying checklist, not a hands-on product review. Check current features, prices and terms with each provider before subscribing.
